Another of my best selling knives is here! It’s my WE-1 Roach Belly skinning and hunting knife. Price is $135.00 +$15.00 s&h USD$. The price is slightly higher due to the difficulty involved with hand processing the VERY hard wood used in the handle! This is one of those Two Feathers knives that you need to own! It's a one of a kind.
The reputation of my knives speak for themselves. Nothing more needs to be said, it's a Two Feathers knife!! Check my feedback reviews in the v&m's forum or in the individual listings.

This knife is 9.25” overall length. The blade is 5” long by 1.25” at the widest part of the curve, and .093” (3/32”) thick 1095 high carbon steel. It’s straight razor sharp. The blade design makes it an excellent skinner and this WE-1 Roach Belly is ideal for field dressing game, from the smallest Wood Chuck to the biggest critter you can bag! It has proved itself while successfully dressing 2 Elk, a Bear, a Moose and a large Mullie. It dressed all five of those big game animals with virtually no need to sharpen, just a quick field stone touch up.

The handle is Osage Orange, it’s HARD!!! Osage Orange has a beautiful color and a hard waxy feel, It will naturally gain a deeper Orange, Yellowish color over years of use. It will last through many future generations when being passed on. I oil sealed, buffed, and waxed it for further protection. The handle is held on by (2) 1/8” iron pins and Non visible epoxy (for added waterproofness at the seam). I know Epoxy isn’t PC, but it keeps the handle slabs securely attached along with the 2 pins, and it stops any water from attacking, cracking, and swelling the wood at the joint between the slabs and the steel tang AND it isn’t visible! It also seals the joint between the handle slabs and tang to keep out blood, dirt, and other bacteria.

The sheath is made of 5oz. Veg. tanned cowhide. Please don't pass judgement on my Bear. I never claimed to be a leather artist or tooler, but I can make a sheath that WILL last! The sheath has a welt to protect the stitches, and is stitched in an X pattern for that PC/HA appearance. There is a second row of stitching to keep the layers of leather around the belt slot tightly bound together and add strength. The sheath is dyed Tan, (or the manufacturer calls it Tan)? It has a “Mountain Man” style belt slot that will accept a 2-1/4” wide belt. To further strengthen the belt slot, I’ve added 2 Matt Black steel rivets, one above, and one below the slot.

The rear of the sheath will have my Two Feathers signature burned into it when it ships.

Price disclaimer: All prices are in USD$. I prefer PayPal friends and family, but will take money orders.

I try to ship same day as funds are received. The exceptions are Federal Holidays, Sundays, severe weather, PO hours, and now this Coronavirus thing. I provide tracking information as soon as my parcel is picked up.
I have had 100% satisfaction on my knives/items. You can trust that any purchase you make from me will live up to, or exceed your expectations!

I now sell in Canada. (See price disclaimer.)

You can PM me here, or email me at [email protected]

As always, thanks for looking.

God bless:

Smokey Plainsman: Happy belated Fourth of July.
Thank you. I had NEVER even seen Osage Orange, until a friend from Tx. sent me some. I still have 2 slabs for another handle. It's a BEAR to work with. I see why folks use it for fence posts down there. It's HARD, it's Waxy, it's beautiful!! I'm dying to see it in 3 years. I probably won't be around for that? :dunno:
I've heard about it getting more Beautiful, Orange, and lustrous, as time passes, but for now, I'll just have to wait and see?
Thank you very much for your comment. Maybe we can do business one day? Stay safe.

If left in the sun, they will darken and turn a deeper orange as well.

Thanks. Great idea, but I have my old computer back up n runnin'. I've looked into SSD's but never really needed one before.
Thanks, maybe I'll get one for a spare? I have a buddy who owns a computer store. He takes very good care of me, my computer needs/repairs, and builds me a new computer when I need it.

I just "upgraded" my gamer and this daily workhorse, both have M.2 drives. The drives look like RAM and attach directly to the motherboard. The motherboard has to have the M.2 socket, most newer ones are coming out this way.

Sorry brother, I'm Tech. challenged! I understood about 1/3rd of that. Are you on a Mac.? Maybe I'll jus buy a new computer? On my last one ( a year ago) I had my buddy put Win. 10 on here. I hated it sooo bad that I had hime delete it and put Win7 Premium edition on here. He said he HATES Win.10 too, but he has to know the OS so he can sell and service it. He still uses Win 8 in his shop.

My gamer is Win 10 but I installed Winaero Tweaker (Free) to competely turn off telemetry, non-Microsoft driver updates and Cortana then StartisBack ($4) to get the old Win 7 Start menu back. I also installed the old Win 7 games that came with Win 7 for free via Winaero. Looks and feels just like the old Win 7.

I was going to chide Smokey Plainsman for creating the term “enorangen” but it appears that you two are making up an entire language!!

Howdy folks:
This knife is sold, however the Sheath is still here. I'm trying to resurrect an older WE-1 Roach Belly with a hair line crack in the tip of the handle "Bolster end" by replacing the handle with some nicer wood. Once I get that done I'll list it again.
I just didn't want anyone to think that the knife was still here and available. I should have marked this listing sooner?
My apologies.
God bless and Merry Christmas:

Windows XP was always the best for me.Wish i would have seen that knife earlier! NICE!!!!!

Rick Son:
Thanks. What caught your eye the most about it? I like to know my customers preferences. It keeps me from making things that DON'T sell! :thumb:
Thank you again for your time to comment.
