Sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask..
Does anyone know of a vendor who might carry replica antique coins ?

Hi Deuce - Since you asked on this forum, I am assuming that your friend's search for a "replica" coin has a legitimate purpose. That said, I routinely buy old coins, and in my experience, "replica" coins tend to be sold as genuine in an effort to bilk unsuspecting buyers from their hard-earned (or perhaps easily-gotten) cash. If for some reason, I did want to buy a "replica" coin, I would check ebay - it seems to have an abundance. Best regards. BR
 
Townsend has them. This is a 1777 George III gold Guinea (gold-plated pewter) reproduction from them.
