Found a 3-point shed and look what happened...
Brow tine made a nice handle for a nipple pick, tube screws off.
Tip made a 20 grain powder measure for my squirrel gun.
Fork made a cool short starter knob.
The other tine worked great for a patch knife handle on an old forged blade.
And I still had a good knife handle piece from the burr end... gotta find a blade.
Not bad for $4 worth of parts and an old shed antler.

I find really neat to be resourceful and create treasures like these. It really gives one a lot of pride in using something that they made from something they found.
These will do you well!

enjoy!

Way to go!
Much better than any of them "store boughts".
To me, making my own is as much fun as shooting (especially on foul weather days).
Nice stuff indeed!

Yep, it's part of the fun of shooting these old guns, making neat little gizmos like that there. Lot's better than store bought. Neat stuff and thanks for sharing.

I found a single shed 5 point WT antler on a farm which allows our Boy Scout troop to camp there. I mounted it to a trophy base found at a garage sale, had a brass Thank You plate made up, and Bingo! A unique gift for the farmer for cheap, and she remembers us whenever she sees it.
