Does anyone now anything about them, I googled them with not much luck..

If that's the one, I think it has a case hardened patch box, fast twist barrel (around 1-28)with shallow grooves, no half cock notch, and muzzle turned round as if for a guide bullet starter. Probably made 20 years ago and imported by Garrett Arms.

I agree. I've only been around one, and it belonged to a friend. But man! :shocked2: Could that thing shoot. It is more or less what peaked my interest in ML's and set my standards on what to expect from a factory gun. I ain't found another and it's been a hard standard for any other company to meet.

It's imported by navy arms, still good. This one maybe one of the 1:28 twists. Going to look at it Friday. It has a 28" barrel with the english stock.

It was made by Garrett Arms, it's mine now..

Now to find out how old it is..

A very fine made stick I might add

Hey Catman,
You beat me to that one by seconds.
I had the vendor on the line, but you got there first.
I have one here and love it, I wanted another for my son.
It is a great shooter.
All the best.
Fred

I did the tight patch twist test and I think this one is a 1:48, it sure is a fine made gun for sure. If it wasn't 103 outside I would go shoot it, but...

Hello Catman,
You will enjoy the set triggers, mine work very well.
You can practice in the evening, and improve your scores.
Hey guys, these rifles reflect the English hunting rifles of the mid to late 1800's.
The vendor/ importes of the late 1970/ 1980'S did not market these guns well, and many never made it out front of the Hawken craze.
They will kick as over the TC's CVA's and the Lymans. :stir: :haha:

I'll get some pics up this weekend. Like old ford says just a nice little English style hunting gun.

Fred, email sent
