any pre-flintlock hunters here?

i havent seen any posts but im sure we got some hunters here who use pre-flintlock firearms. im thinking snapaunce, arquebuse, matchlock, or a gonne.

ive been getting the fowler itch but id also like to get a matchlock. so rather then buying a fowler and a matchlock i figured id merge the two. the light weight 62 cal matchlock offered by the rifle shoppe looks like it would do the job. but untell i can come up with funds im hopen to see yer guys/gals pictures and hear yer stories.

[No Deer]

NO personal experience with one, but a friend has a matchlock 20 ga. He has taken several deer with it, and won our woodswalk with it one year.
