There was a thread about a double barrel flintlock pistol from Middlesex Village Trading awhile back.
Have there been any range reports about it since then?

I was on the waiting list but they took so long to get here I used the money on other toys. I will have a pair eventually. Would love to see some pics/reports.

I am on the waiting list - way down as I didn't place the order until late January. Gives me time to save up.
Looking forward to that range report.

I am a bit ashamed to say I have one but haven't gotten to the range yet. I will post a review once I do.

Until the range report, how about pictures & a description, particularly fit & finish?

OK, here are the photos as promised. My camera and photography skills aren't the best and I had a heck of a time with light reflecting off the bare metal. You can see the fit and finish is about what one would expect from a $400 double barrel flintlock from India, not great. The wood is banged up in places and oversized. You can see copper between the barrels and the frame on top, is that solder? In addition the "joint" at the front of the barrels has two little gaps in it, I don't think it is a big deal, just unsightly. Wendy from MVTC was very nice and prompt through the whole transaction. I am happy with thier service and the product for the price paid. If I had special ordered this as a one off I would be very unhappy. Because of the number of photos I took to show you the pistol I am just including a link to my photo page. I will answer questions the best I can but since I have to get up at 0400 I probably won't answer them until tomorrow.
Enjoy!

I think It looks nice, Cant own one in my Country as its a pistol :barf: ,
but if this company comes out with a long arm version, WITH the queen anne style locks, I am going to be buying one, refinish the wood and blue the steel, get some engravings done ......

Have you shot it as yet????
If so hows she shoot?
