I can't recall ever seeing any. But it is possible to buy a shootable original if your wallet can stretch that far.

I can't remember seeing any either. If I recall correctly, there was a cap n' ball made by webley prior to the "MK" series of sherlock holmes and world war fame. Maybe try gunbroker. I don't think any repro maker has duplicated the markings on the london colts.

I remember seeing an article about an odd English 5 shot 58 cal cap and ball revolver. I wish the Italians would run off a few copies.

A gunsmith in Switzerland was making a copy of the Adams C&B revolvers for a while a few years back. Very high quality & very high price. Last I heard the project had been shelved.
I have an original Adams-patent C&B revolver for sale, if anyone is interested they can PM me.

Especially if they could keep the fit and finish standards on a par with the originals. That would really be something!

Andy Baumkircher made a repro Adams. I think he might have made a half-dozen of them. I've got one...very nice, but I would not spend the money again.

I've heard rumor of a Kerr repro in the works.

Yes sir, I remember that article and like you have always thought what a fine thing it would be to have the original "man stopper".
