Hunting season is here, so a lot of stores are restocking for the season. You should be seeing more and more of them around. Buy what you will need to last you till next hunting season, when they will be back again. That's my plan to do. DANNY

I got 100 RWS #11 from the Sportsmans Warehouse down the road this morning. I talked to a guy that runs a black powder shop down the road and he said that he has 5000 on the way. I had one kid at a gun counter tell me that they weren't making them anymore because everyone wanted modern muzzle loaders. :youcrazy:

Another child left behind! :haha:

Thank you all for the replies. I have a cousin who lives part time in Kansas city, MO, who is bringing me back two or three thousand caps. My area is completely dry and will be that way for the foreseeable future. I even have a local Bass Pro Shops and they are out with no idea when they will restock.

Just like to mention, those "11M" at Jeddadiah Star are magnum. They do help a lot when using fake black powder substitutes.

Here in California it is a felony to posses more than 1 pound of true black, hence I use Pyrodex for muzzle loaders and APP for BP cartridges. And keep one pound of 4fG for priming and duplex (as recommended by Hodgdon on their site for making duplex Pyrodex/BP for flintlocks and such).
