The short Zouave was sold as a carbine. I know that Zoli made them and marketed them through Navy Arms, as well as under their own name.

I've looked at and handled the Buffalo Hunter and never noticed that the trigger bow was backwards.
 
I have a cousin who's owned a Parker Hale for about 40 years. Many an elk ended up in the freezer when the smoke cleared!👌

That 535gr Minié bullet, or a suitable ball, over 90gr of 1Fg is going to cut the mustard with either load - especially as a brush-buster. Last year I blew a heavy plastic pail over a twelve-foot high backstop with the Minié load.

Great for hunting the Greater Black Pail.... ;)
