Unknow maker, thinking of getting it. I have just see this photo, I haven't handled it. Anyone tell me what it is. Style, era, etc.

Looks kind of like a Harper's Ferry style pistol. Pretty much a common style in the late 1700's-early 1800's.
 
This is a clear example of a long barreled, large caliber, very powerful, O.K. pistol.

As in: "I'm pointing a long barreled, large caliber, very powerful, pistol at you; don't move."

Brigand on business end: "O.K." :grin:
 
Late flint, mass produced, functional but cheap.

I'd shoot it, but I wouldn't buy it unless it was $75 or less :thumbsup:
