I bought this one at an auction without a close inspection. It was cheap enough and I could tell it wasn't a normal TC barrel. It appears to be a TC stock and lock, but the barrel is .45 caliber and 35-7/8" long from the crown to the front of the breech plug. The only markings are on the bottom in the breech area, it's stamped ".29", ".450", "1.60" and "HH" (or possibly "RR", it's sort of light on one side). It has 6-groove square cut rifling and doesn't appear to be swamped.

Looks like an H&H barrel, both the marking and the wide grooves and narrower lands. Hoppy Hopkins made high quality barrels, very hard steel and often said they are match grade.

A search of the forum for Hoppy Hopkins might give more.

Thanks! It's dirty but looks like it'll clean up nice. Glad to hear it's a good one.
