I've been wanting to build a simple English pistol like this but I can't seem to find anyone that sells a single straight round barrel. Anyone know of a barrel maker that sells one or did they all just use swamped barrels and my eyes are playing tricks on me?

I haven't seen one, I have a friend who has repurposed a modern round shotgun barrel for making a flintlock fowler turkey gun.

You could get one made but it would be BIG bucks.

If you make a smoothbore pistol, someone on this site might have a 20ga round barrel cut-off they would turn lose.

Oregon barrels will make what you want. They did .58 and .50 tapered round smoothbore bar for me. Wait time is a bit long, but quality is good. Also try Numrich arms. I made two pistols from their barrels. I think they were never finished shot gun barrels. You will need a little lathe turning on the breech end and fitting of a plug. Both are nice and light and with reasonable loads for a pistol very safe. Proof them, of course. Price is right.

Gun parts corporation sells an unused 58 caliber ( roughly) shotgun barrel blank for $26. It will make a nice plain round pistol barrel. I bought a bunch.

Called Oregon barrel company and they offer custom smoothbore straight barrels at a very reasonable price.
