Got a nice Brooks bullet mold. Thought the extra set of RCBS handles would fit it. Nope. Needs SAECO handles. Does anyone know if SAECO handles are interchangeable with Lyman, Lee or any other handles? I can tell you they don't interchange with RCBS handles. Thank you

Interesting question. My Saeco molds are all 4 cavity and so don't fit any of my 1 & 2 cavity molds.

Hoo boy, now you have added a twist. The Brooks website simply says to use SAECO handles. Brooks' molds are single cavity nose-pours, so it is probably safe to think the SAECO handles would be for the one-cavity moulds.

It looks like you "may" be able to use Lee 6 cavity handles on your Brooks. Take a look at the info here: Lee 6 Cavity Mold Handles
Thank you for the lead. I did try the RCBS handles, and while they "fit," the mold did not close well. Interestingly, on the TOW link you provide, Brooks is listed there among the myriad other mold makers whose molds might fit. Right now I have a Lee double cavity mold with handles attached in front of me. The metal is a lot thinner than the RCBS and probably the SAECO. Because I cannot unscrew the Allen screw holding the mold to the handle arm, I can't try to fit them. Just eyeballing them it looks like not a good fit.

The steel in the Lee 6 cavity handles is much thicker (~ twice as thick as their smaller handles). I use a set of them for my Lyman molds. :thumb:

I hope they work out for you. If so, let us know and we can reference this thread should the subject come up in the future. :thumb:

They are available at the auction site pa mentioned above. They run about $3-4 more than from Track (with shipping), but they're in stock.
