Picked up this ASM 44 on the way back from running an errand to the garden store for my wife. I normally prefer Remington clones but I liked the shorter barrel and it cut and lugged for a shoulder stock. There is a little rust freckling under the barrel near the loading lever lug but could be unfired. There is traces of paste wax in the trigger guard screw heads.
