I have the chance to pick up a LIGHTLY used, great condition, ASM Walker for $350, maybe able to talk him down some. Is this a good deal or not?

Thanks,

WAYA :idunno:

Well, if you consider that another poster on this very forum collected a NIB UBERTI in charcoal blued finish for less than $220, then no, it ain't no bargin.

See a couple of posts above - 'NIB Uberti Walker for $219.'

You can get a new Uberti for $50.00 more at Taylor Arms . Well worth the extra cash IMHO.

NEW Uberti Walker at Dixies for $375.

Got one last fall for $355 from Dixie and can definately recommend purchasing the Uberti.

I have one and IMHO, that is a bit much for an ASM, get the Uberti and it will be more HC too. The barrel wedge goes in from the correct side.

FYI! Parts for the ASM Walker may be hard to find since they don't make them anymore or so I've been told. The trigger/bolt spring broke on mine and I had to custom make one. VTI gun parts tried to sell me a Uberti spring but it would not fit. They will rake you over the coals for shipping also. As for my ASM Walker, it shoots great. I certainly would not pay more than the asking price on the one you are looking at.
