No....I'm not kicking the bucket :blah:.I'm heading for Deer Camp in the Morning,to wait for the opener on Friday. With me I've packed a flintlock and a Caplock and plenty of roundballs.I just can't wait!I know it's been well over a month and almost like 2 months since I started gettting all jittery and I haven't been thinking nothing but hunting.Deer are not quite as plentyfull up here as they are in some of the US states.Luckily I have close to a month to try for my Buck,Last year it took 24 days of hunting to bag him.Hopefully I'll have some pictures to post sometime in the near future.Good luck to anyone and everyone that is headed afield this fall! :peace:

HalfTail,
The Alabama WhiteTail season for Muzzleloaders begins Nov. 14 and goes to end of Jan. Limit is 1 buck and 1 doe per day for entire season. There are 3 National forests and a bunch of State Management areas. Alfa and State Farm Insurance would like to see every hunter kill every deer that they can legally. The weather is mild compared to Canada and the people are mostly friendly. Come on down sometime. Bring large cooler to take home meat.

I know how you feel.
Our first (and main season) starts next Monday (Oct.31 - Nov.18). Got me a virgin Bess and new woods this year. :applause:
