Nice work. Looks like a couple of stiffners where the flap folds, to help open the throat and ease access?

Actually those stiffeners are there because when I put the gusset in there were holes left over on the back when I sewed it together...guess I counted wrong or something...anyway they do function as a way to help hold it open and whatnot, but also to cover up my mistake!! :redface:

When working with leather, I have found it to be a trueism- if it leads to something that works,
it wasn't a mistake! :thumbsup:

At least, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :wink:
