I thought Florida was supposed to be very humid most of the time, is that true? Remingtons rule !

Never lived there full time, but my mom and stepdad moved there and I spent a lot of time visiting, summer, winter, spring, fall, weeks at a time. It is not true that Florida is very humid most of the time. Florida is very humid ALL of the time!

And yes, Remingtons rule

Whatever gave you the impression that a ROA is not historically correct? Their history goes back to 1972 and every one of them since is a first generation gun. They are not replicas, they are original 20th century C&B revolvers. Grab one if you can while there are still 1G ROA's to be had!

My 1858 Remmy is a very reliable revolver. I have shot it several hundreds of times and have never had it go "click", I cannot say this about my Dragoon and I have had more than one smokestack jams in my autos. This is not to say it couldnt happen in the future. One reason I use it for defence is that it's the gun I shoot most often. I also own modern guns but I just love shooting the Remington more. Also I think that in almost every situation one or two shoots is all you really need. That is unless your faced with a crowd of post apocalyptic zombies :rotf:

I have kept my 1860 army loaded and ready now for 5 days and feel no need for anything to replace it. The only problem is that I need another 1860 to dry practice with. Guess I'll keep shopping around. Thanks for the conversation,
