On a trip from Texas to Pennsylvania, we saw the kudzu in NC and Georgia, and I don't know where all else.
Invasive? Yeah, I guess so!
When it climbs telephone poles and drapes itself from the wires, or completely covers an old house or barn, that sounds invasive to me.
