Bad Habits

I have got to stop wearing out my flints and frizzen dry firing in the dark just to see the shower of sparks.
Worse than a bug drawn to a light. I just can't seem to stop! :rotf:
Got the big red ones going that fall nearly to the floor before they go out. Very cool to watch but am trying to discern the general pattern of where they are directed and it appears so far to be rather random to my untrained eye.
Keep looking to learn all I can about lock nuance and how to make them preform as best they are capable of. Mike D.

Some of us suffer from O C D... but in my case it's C D O in alphabetic order. :grin:

Really though I catch myself running a patch down the bore all the time, to check for rust. I'll probably wear it out that way instead of by shooting.
