I kinda shake my head in wonder and sadness when I see mention of a fine handle being made for a 'hawk. Or of somebody buying 'a' new handle. There seems to be a law of nature that the nicer the handle the sooner it is going to break and/or some jerk at an event will decide to "play handles" without yer permission and ruin it real quick. I have built a couple real nice handles and they didn't last a fruit fly life span at rendezvous. I always have several extras on hand and, now, never fancy them up. Seems like I haven't changed handles in years. It aught to be legal to do nasty things to people who "handle hunt".
