Got the call from the builder my Baker is finished and ready to ship, here are a couple of pics

Who built it? Does the butt box have one or two compartments under the cover? What twist does it have? Do you have the sword that goes with it?

Doc White is the builder.Yes it has the two compartments in the patchbox.It is built from Rifle Shoppe parts More pics can be
seen on his website at White muzzleloading on his custom traditional page.I don t have the bayonet as I am going to use it primarily for hunting.

What has become of the British gentleman who owned an original Baker and would keep us posted as to his progress in working up a load (I hesitate to say accurate at this point.....)

Nice! :thumbsup: Don't know if the bayonet would be practical but might be useful for clearing a path detached. Do you know the rate of twist in the barrel? Originals had 1:120 inch rate of twist, thats why I ask.

Sorry I only knew of one "British gentleman" and that was Sqire Robin, who was shooting an original Baker.

Dyemaker, If I remember right he was using patches made from goat leather?? He's been around, I would send him a PT, I'm sure he'd chat with ya about it.
