I knew the wallaby bag would show up as soon as I read the question! Remarkable, the fascination Stumpy has with that thing!

This might be what you are looking for..no I don't think it is but I already posted it so you can look anyway.

BALL BAG

Thats it. But it dose not have a plug. I'm almost done with mine now. I'll out up some pictures when its done.

What do you guys pay for leather? I pay $3 to $5 per sq. ft. for the really good stuff, $1.98 per sq. ft. for the good leather and $1 for the scraps. It's called "The Hide House" in Napa, CA.

I'm new to leather work, But am having fun with it.

Stumpy.....GOOD LORD!!! Now I AM gonna have nightmares....That thing looks like something that might have been in a caveman's adult entertainment shop! ::

I bought a small leather neck bag at Gander Mountain. It held about 15 .50 caliber balls, but that was more than enough to have hanging from a leather thong around one's neck. I think it was made by leatherman and cost about $7. I gave mine away to a friend who seemed to like it more than I.

I've got it done. I'll get some pictures when I can get my hands on a friends camera. Thanks for all the help.
Its not much to look at being my first try, but ya know.

Now you gotta admit Rustic sounds more MANLEY then "that's the best I can do" I would like to sea your bag when it's done,,

Scarecrow:

Look up the web site for The Leatherman, he makes them and much more. Good stuff.

Thats it! Its rustic! I don't like the new out of the box look. But I am having fun with it. Made a case for my flask out of some scraps. Just learning.

Nice pics Hobbles.

Thanks dryfly, I will.

The Roo sack I use holds 25 of the 50 cal. round balls. Just pretty neat. Don't think I could go the one with hair still on it though. :shocking: ::

I made this one, I need to make a plug for it. it's just rawhide, stitched with rawhide. make it as big as you want, fill it full of pea gravel or whatever while it is still wet. let it dry, and shake out the pea gravel. This one holds 50 .54 balls. It's crude, first one I made.

You should improve with experience. Nothing wrong with what you have done some people will pay big money for an item that is rustic.
