How do you guys carry your ball boards? Around your neck, in a pocket, on your belt, in your bag, on your bag strap? Just looking at what others do , maybe I can learn a new way that will work better than what I do. Thanks for the help guys.

Right now mine's hanging on a thong that's tied to my bag strap. The thong is long enough for easy use in loading, but the board goes into the bag. I've been thinking of adding a "sheath" for it to the bag strap, but I'll go ahead and use the thong, too. I'm just too darned clumsy not to have it attached, especially when my hands are shaky and there's a deer down nearby. I can drop it on the range, about as easy as I can drop it in the field.

My pouch has a sheath for a five-hole block. I carry a three-hole on my horn strap (it slides in a leather strap across the larger strap) and that is also fastened with a leather thong so I can't lose it.

I have a belt pouch I use with my percussion rifle that has a front pocket that I carry a seven-hole block it.

I also have a gorget shaped five-holer I can wear around my neck. Good for a woods walk or a target session. When hunting, though, the less that dangles, jangles and tangles the better.

Same for mine, but I also have my round leather capper and my short starter on thongs also and all go into the bag to keep all this stuff from swing around a clanking when not in use.Good luck. :v

I carry mine inside the bag with my short starter. When I reach into the bag they both come out in my hand at the same time.
Plenty fast enough for me.

Well it sounds like what I am doing is the normal way. I have mine on a thong on my bag strap.

I carry mine in bag attached with a thong. Starter on strap in holster. Capper in bag. Primer I carry around neck. Dilly
