I was using the different colors to signify different shot sizes and types at one time. I fiddled for a little while with "Heavy Shot" that I cut out of some cartridges. IF the shot were round and some posts here didn't raise some concerns with the hardness of the shot, I would have stuck with it.

Bill, We might have it growing along the mighty Mo, but my legs are next to useless anymore for traveling. I'll have to ask some fishing buddies to keep an eye open for it.

They used to call that type of home made shot Swan Shot up here in Canada. They thought the long necks on the shot looked a bit like a swan, they also shot a lot of swans and other birds with it. It actually patterns really well out of most shotguns.
