Inquiring minds want to know... did you pull the bolster and breach plug before sending it to Mr. Hoyt?
If so, was the plug all the way in before removing it?

I pulled it apart and striped the threads on drum, and inside plug where the drum fits in. Now I need to find new or used breech and drum. For traditions hawken woodsman, 15/16 barrel.

Called Robert , sending barrel back to him. He 's going to put in an TC drum (over size) in.

Got my barrel back from Robert today. if its not raining fri. I'll be out shooting.
