I saw pictures of a great coneing tool but I cant find it with my search skills.

It was a cone shaped tool that used emery cloth to remove barrel material. It was offered for sale.

Please point me in the right direction.

Thanks

I know of two versions.
1) Coning tools are available from Joe Wood, Amarillo, Texas 806-352-3032, do a search here there are numirous threads.

2)The other is by Ed Hamburg, [email protected]

Ed Hamberg

Alton, Il 62002

They both work about the same way except Joe's tool is set up for one caliber and Ed's tool uses a cleaning jag to center the thing and the same tool can be used from like .32 to .75 cal.

I have this tool works great and Joe is a great guy to deal with.

I don't think Joe is making them any more. I have several and they're excellent, so if he's still in business I can speak highly of his product.

Thanks,

The tool I remembered from months ago turned out to be made by Ed Hamberg.

My problem was I was not searching the correct forum. I found the article elsewhere searching on "ed hamberg".

Joe is still making them, and is advertising on other sites, and in Muzzle Blasts.

I'm not sure but I don't think either one of them are still in business. I turn Google search after Google search and can't find any information on where to get any of them.
