You would be better off to purchase a BP rifle from a reputable source.
Hospital bills are a lot more than a nice custom rifle would cost.
 
I'll just be blunt here. I don't even see $50 in parts there.

I wouldn't spend money trying to fix it up. It's just not worth it.

Any money you are tempted to spend on it would be better put toward a better gun.
