Think you are asking about the brass cylinder shaped one as currently sold by Traditions on the Dixie Gun Works site?

Mine is quite old with a green light, can't remember the brand name from back then. Maybe CVA, looks like the one in the DGW link above. Replaced the battery last year. Used an Energizer 392 battery.
Wal-Mart never had 392's in stock. Finally ordered online from Frys.com and picked up in store about 30 miles away. Cost was under $2 in 2016.

You should take a look at the battery that you have in your bore light.
None the less there are battery equivalents for the 392 battery. SR41, SR736W, 384, 392, D384/392, SR41SW, SR41W, V384, V392, SR736 Look at the button cell battery display in your dollar store. Thhere may be a blister pack wiith 4 batteries for $1. Then there is Harbor Freight. They have a multi battery pack with 4 LR41 (replaces SR41) batteries for $3.

A few years ago I dropped mine down the barrel of a rifle I was selling and the customer was so enamored with the light that I had to make it part of the purchse.
I switched at that time to the thin stick bobber lights made by Thill (fishing department). They fit down any caliber; cost $5 or less and have a stated battery life of about 20 hours. I haven't had one die off yet.

This is the first I've heard of those illuminated bobbers...I see on Amazon that they come in different colors and brands.

I have had green and yellow and don't notice any difference. Of course with my advanced middle age eyesight I'm rarely sure of what I'm looking at anymore.
Check in the health stuff department near the pharmacy. That is a hearing aid size. I just threw away about 200 of them the VA shipped me in error. :shocked2:
