Where I'm sitting less then one mile away is the new home of this event in Indiana. The actual battlefield will no longer host the weekend of teaching and Battlefield re enactment.
Apparently after some time rangling with a group of Miami Indians from out of State the groups organizers have decided to move. The new location is between Marion and Gas City Indiana, next to the Mississinewa River on ground that previously was a gravel pit.
The Plan is to have the grounds ready for the October 2025 weekend activities.
I'm not associated with the group, but know some folks who are. I have attended the previous weekends several times and have always found them fun and educational.
