I was just wondering if anyone has visited the bayou salado rendezvous in hartsel/fairplay colorado? I went this summer and had a great time and enjoyed my first outing as a visitor. Im stock piling clothing, accessories, powder and finishing up my rifle. Hopefully i'll be ready by next summer and join up.

If you liked that one, you should come up to Coledge, It's like the next mountain range over to the north.

Does anyone have dates or location info for Colorado rendezvous?

Go here to the colorado state site for the dates. It doesn't appear that the date for college is set yet. http://www.csmla.org/
In defense of the colorado college, it's getting better. It's of course a weeklong rondy with classes on all sorts of subjects throughout the week, most of which are free. This last summer, I was the local blacksmith, I taught anyone who was willing to listen, about blacksmithing. I should be there next year, god willing, doing the same thing. There were courses on cooking, leather craft, beeding, shooting, archery and a hundred other subjects. It was great fun last year, I hope to see you there.
