I'm told the oil won't freeze up in very cold weather,is this true?

I put my jug in the freezer overnight, and that's certainly the case at the -10 degree setting. Dunno about colder. Try the freezer test with olive oil, if you want an eye opener!

Actually I'm the chief cook, so she doesn't ask too many questions. :wink:

Of course there was the time I had a pair of real ripe buffalo horns frozen in a plastic bag waiting for me to get around to them. She pulled them out and put them on the shelf by the freezer while looking for something else. And forgot about them for a few hours. She knows better now than to go digging in MY freezer! :rotf:
