FOR SALE Beautiful. 45 Bedford County Style Percussion Rifle

Nicely executed Bedford County, PA style .45 percussion rifle. It has a 41" G.R. DOUGLAS barrel with 1:66 twist. Finish is aged patina. Bore is very good. Nicely figured Maple stock with 13.75" LOP. Brass fitted with German Silver accents. The lock is stamped DEAN MITTON inside. Mr. Mitton took over Russ Hamm's lock business. The lockplate and hammer are nicely engraved. Builder unknown. Rifle weighs about 8.2 lbs. $1300 + Shipping.

Nice looking rifle, I'm kinda surprised the maker went with one oddball escutcheon on the forearm. It's not bad looking just different.
