SOLD Beautiful custom built flintlock/percussion rifle

Hi I am selling my COMPLETELY custom muzzleloader. It is a .45 caliber with a rifled barrel perfect for shooting patched round balls accurately. This rifle was hand built by a master gun builder old man about 40 years ago.

Early Lancaster .45 cal Douglas premium grade barrel, double set trigger, with hairpin trigger, extremely high end L&R locks (both percussion and flint). Which both fit perfectly. HIGHLY figured extra premium old growth curly maple stock. Hand engraving throughout the stock, and on all of the furnishings and case.



Comes with many extras which include,

Custom deer skin case, stitched with real sinew, capped with deer hair. Made my builders wife out of a deer skin harvested by the builder himself with this very rifle), a hand made deer antler pan powder primer dispenser, custom carved eagle head touch hole pick and pan brush, patch knife and leather sheath, 100 swagged Hornady round balls, 100 pre lubed pre cut patches, brass powder measurer, handmade wooden patch and ball holder with leather sling, 5 pre load tubes, extra different style front sight, 3 sets of barrel swabs/ brass brush barrel cleaners, custom 30-30 casing powder spout funnel, cows knee lock cover (for hunting or shooting in wet weather, keep that powder dry! ). Leather frizzen cover to keep oils off of the frizzen. I will throw in an extra long range rod/cleaning rod that isn’t pictured.



This is an extremely accurate traditional black powder rifle. It shoots tight groups at 100 yards no problem. I will provide a photo of the target from 100 yards. This would make a great hunting rifle or target shooting rifle.

Selling everything for 3000 obo or trade the rifle straight across for a really nice smoothbore .62 cal flintlock. Open to other smoothbores so just let me know. Looking for a Turkey,deer and goose gun.

thanks for the kind words. I’m hoping to sell this to fund a couple more smoothbores for my lady and I. Turkey season is at the end of March here. And I’m very excited to call in some toms! My lady and I both got to have a great time last year.

Still looking fellas, I recently fell in love with “what most people would say is an ugly gun…) the club butt! Which handles quite nicely if I might say. The weight displacement is unparalleled. So if any of you out there have a club butt in .62 cal (20 gauge) or LARGER please send me a pm! Thanks all.
as well as any Fowler’s/smoothbores in .62 and up. Pretty much only looking for flintlocks. But not opposed to looking at Precussion if the price is right I can always change the lock if I have to.
