Funny looking to me ,but it grows on you the bedford has a beauty of its own. Funny when we think Bedford we think P.A.,but there were transplant bedfords. Ohio made by the Great Joseph Mills who moved to southeast Ohio in Cosh. I have been to the Mills Estate and shot A bean shoot there and a great-great grand child still hosts the shoot Near 80 and she has good corn bread and beans and pie cooked on a old iron stove burning wood in a cabin in the bears den.`And of course the shoot, boot jack, string shoot ,it invatation only and I hope I get invited this year. A pal named Fred Nay who passed with a heart attack a few years back was a master Bedford maker, hand made rifled barrels ,hand forged and filed locks, and all hardware. Lord we miss him gone to the maker. Old Fred would hunt deer with his .38 cal. Bedford and got dozens. There may be a Bedford in my life yet and yes a .38cal.
