I'm trying these halogen replacements,

A 100 watt halogen bulb in one of those articulated lights over the bench is the cat's meow. We have also replaced some of the incadescent bulbs in our house with them because they are brighter and supposed to last longer. What the hey, don't know 'till you try 'em. Other than that I have 8' florescents throughout the rest of the shop with white walls for best lighting effect. Older eyes need all the help they can get. Soooo... if your looking to replace the incadescent bulbs in your "bulb" light over your bench I reccomend that you try the halogen even for a few bucks (cents?) more. It'll be worth it.
