Bent sprue slicer on mold

Necchi, there's nothing wrong with you, mate, all of my RB molds use a conventional thread to hold the sprue plate on i.e. turn anti-clockwise to unscrew (although they can be a bit tight!). This includes the mold I bought about four weeks ago.

I've had to remove every sprue plate to smooth off rough edges.
 
Actually I think its done to reduce the possibility of the screw coming loose during normal operation of the sprue cutter.Screws tend to loosen quite easily when the item they are holding is rotated in the the loosening direction but do not retighten to the same extent when the reverse process takes place.I think this is overthinking by the designer in the case of a ball mold.A little locktite ought to solve that problem.

I've straightened several by taking them off, put on a flat steel (anvil) upside down and tap them with a hammer until they were flat.
