I like a load of 90 g ff2 with a thick felt wad soaked in wonderlube 1000 and a patch with Stumpies moose snot on. I can shoot a string of 13 without cleaning.

YA-FLIPIN-HOO!
I found my note book!

Also appears I was trying to determine on settling with 100 or 110 gr. 2Fg Geox as a charge.

Also was noted wanting to try 1Fg. if I could find it available.

All of you folks shooting in excess of 90 gr FF out of a bess must be more of a man than I am. In all honesty, my load combination shoots best with 90 gr FFG, but I'm too wimpy to shoot that load all afternoon. Anything over 85 gr rattles my teeth and makes my shoulder hurt...and I'm no 90 pound weakling.

The 85 gr load shoots well to about 60-70 yards, but I gotta use a little elevation at that range, and I can bounce 'em in to hit 18inch gongs at 100 yards. :hmm:

I tried 85 gr FG and the ball was visible going down range. 100 gr was better, but didn't perform as well as the 85 gr of FFG. Recoil of the 100 gr load was less intense than the 85 gr load of FF, and more dirty. I didn't have time to experiment with hotter loads of FG, so can't comment on how well they might perform.

So, what you trying to say?

"Recoil of the 100 gr load was less intense than the 85 gr load of FF"

The same as that?

For whatever reason (assuming accuacy) I assure you it was NOT to rattle your teeth, or to prove any manhood inclinations.

"100 gr was better, but didn't perform as well as the 85 gr of FFG."

I assume you're saying you sacrificed accuacy for your poor shoulder or teeth?

At first it sounded like you wanted to argue about what I had found to work for me in mine.
Then it sounded like you were totally confused to begin with. :youcrazy:  :hmm: :blah: :hatsoff:

I'm saying that either you guys are gorillas, or I must be a wimp. :blah:

Either I can't write read'n or you can't read writ'n. The 100 gr load of FG was less intense than the 85grs of FFG :v

Huuh, what was not to rattle my teeth or prove inclinations to manhood? I must have missed something there. Must be that read'n and writ'n thing again. :v

Accuracy with 85 gr FFG is decent, but might be better with hotter loads. I enjoy shooting, but don't enjoy being punished. Got enough of that as a kid. So, yes, I prefer to sacrifice accuracy as opposed to sacrificing what few teeth I have left, or sacrificing my poor old injured shoulder. Can't shoot without the shoulder, BTW. So it's either save the shoulder or not shoot at all. :cursing:

Do you know my wife? She says the same thing about me. :hmm: :rotf:
