It looks like your flint is shot unless you can pressure flake it for a very sharp edge striking the frizzen. On your one picture from the back of the flint and hammer it looks like your flint will or is striking your barrel? I think a new flint will greatly improve your misfire problem.

Dang if that ain’t the Bobbsey Twin of mine. Manufactured mid 1970’s. You will really enjoy shooting that rifle with the tang sights, they work really well with the post insert for hunting or variable light conditions. Circular inserts work really well at the range. My apologies to the OP and possible buyer for butting in as non buyer, But dang, I love mine😀
