I have an alternate suggestion. Get some canvas and make what you think that you want from that and try it to see how it works. I made 8 or 10 bags from leather before I tried canvas, all worked but each time I saw something that I wanted different so I made 6 or 8 more from canvas. About 20 years ago I finally decided what I wanted and cut it out of lether. It's everything I wanted and more
