Have you thought of the Lyman 16 AML rear and 37 ML front bead set? I put these on the Tradition Kentucky.and they worked
out good

Are you asking which direction?

I drive them from right to left. Never thought about it 🤔 think i do it that way cause I'm right handed.
 
I don't think there's a set direction, although I've seen it specified for a few modern firearms.
 
just finished speaking with a friend that has built a few flinters and he said as a rule traditions and others are drive right in and drive from the left to get them out. say there is only .001" or so difference from end to end of the sight dove tails.
