Howie,
Have you ever considered designing a tripod-style hoist that mounts in the bed of your truck, that would have a Warne electric winch attached to it? If mounted up by the cab: a pair of sturdy plastic ramps that lead from the ground to the truck's bed, and a smooth piece of thick plastic, like from a kiddie pool; would allow a hunter of any age to winch a big game animal into the bed of their truck without risk of hurting themselves.
Look closely - you will see a cable around one leg. Same way I load a big one. Come-along.......Howie,
First let me congratulate you on the BIG ol’ porker - WOW!
Next let me ask you how in the heck you got that brute in the box by yousef’??? I have a dickens of a time getting a whitetail doe in the truck by my lonesome.
On the north property i have my 4 wheeler and we have a kawasaki mule and have a tripod and gambrel to clean and skin, it is a real pain to get from the highway to camp when the water is up so at my hog spot i leave a game cart which i can roll the hog onto and pull him out. i have a guy who makes sausage does specialty meat orders who will come pick up any hog i shoot. i have a 2 hr rule meaning from the time i shoot he shows up and helpsme load him. i always take the backstraps off any hog i kill, he gets the quarters where he makes some incredible smoked sausage he would split it 50-50 with me but i let him keep it occasionally ill get a lb or two from him the back straps keeps me eating and not spending much at the grocery store and he is able to make extra money on his side businessHowie,

Just my thoughts from a 66 year old that cannot do that anymore.
Nice pig!!! Love your T/C Big Boar .58's. If I could only own one rifle it would be a .58 caliber flintlock. It will kill anything in North America.
