Big thanks to Birddog6

Hi all.
Late in July I had the pleasure of spending some time with Birddog6 (Keith) and his family in Alabama.
Now I can tell you that Alabama is a fair step from New Zealand :shocking:but I was on business in Los Angeles so it seemed rude not to make the extra effort to get to AL.
Well folks, we had a ball. Keith took me to met Tip Curtis up TN way and my eyes fell out of my head at the sight of his inventory :applause:. Nothing like that in New Zealand I can assure you. Tip and Mrs Tip were very welcoming and I added some more weight to my suitcase while I was there.
Got to shoot some smoke poles with Keith and Co. and chewed a lot of fat too.
Dang it was hot and humid though. You have to remember it is winter here at the moment.
I now have a good stock of Murphy's on hand as it is not available in NZ so the world is my oyster.

Jeff,
I second everything you have said. Birddog is a Top notch gentleman who has helped me out more time than I can count and I did not even have to fly around the world. Good to hear your trip was enjoyable and someone showed you a little Southern hospitality even if he is originaly from Ohio. haha!

You are most welcome... I am glad you had a safe trip & a pleasant one, and we sure enjoyed your visit. Hopefully some day you can bring your wife & daughter with you & they can also enjoy the trip. And maybe some day I can take you up on your invitation & make it over there for a vist & see a little of NZ also. :thumbsup:
