I just found out I drew a bighorn ewe tag today! Some folks might not get excited about a ewe tag but I love sheep hunting! I took a ewe in Colorado around 10 years ago with a recurve. Its some of the best meat around. Now I just have to decide what gun to use. I'm just about done with a .54 GPR kit that I might use if its accurate enough. If its anything like my other GPRs accuracy will not be an issue.

 You cant beat hunting an animal that you are that excited about with a gun created from your own hand! Good luck

Thanks! Over the winter I read Osborne Russells Journal of a Trapper. He wrote quite a bit about his experiences hunting bighorn sheep. That brought back some memories and got the itch started in me to hunt them again.

Hey Pab-- Need a gun barrer, cook, or sheep dragger/butcher, or possibly guide?? I love to hunt in sheep country. Good luck!!!
