Hi!

just traded into a pile of stuff, in it are two marked barrel blanks, one in .60 cal, the other is .70

Still in tha round, but bill large marked, any idea of tha value?

Thanks!

I bought a Bill Large barrel on Ebay last week, 1 inch acrost the flats, 31 1/4 long and 54 cal. with a patent breach. It has never been used and is in mint condition, cost me $283.00 with shipping. Hope this gives you and idea about the cost of your's.

Thanks! I ended up with some of his tools&things, and apparantly tha barrels he never had time to finish.

Yup!

I've no use for 'em, somebody with appreciation for 'em should have 'em.

(And beside that only way i'm gettin peace in tha house, its tha WIFES ebay account and SHE gets the money!)

Let me correct myself, its tha account for BOTH mine and a gunsmiths wife, they get tha surplus stuff ta sell.

You ought to take the tools and barrels to Friendship IN for the NMLRA Spring Shoot. There are a lot of boys there that just might spend more for Bill Large barrels or tools than you have in them.

Bill Large was the first of the modern day barrel makers. A lot of his barrels are still winning matches today.

Many Klatch
