I'm a new member here from Ohio. Not a Buckeye nut but a Muzzleloader nut!!
It gets in your blood. 1980 I was left at home for a couple weeks due to med emergency, my uncle would come out and check on me, and brought his Hawken for us to shoot. Once I saved up enough money went to town and bought my own. Remember it like yesterday.I've been in muzzleloaders for about fifteen years. Shot something all my life then my first flintlock came from a yard sale. $80 for a .45 cal FIE. Got me curios with black powder firearms. I now have a bit of an assortment of calibers, .45, 50, 54 and recently a .58. I percussion. I just love flinters. Brought me back to our early history. Looking forward to the conversations on this great forum! Bless all.
