Hello All,
Last week I went and got me a pair of .44 C&Bs to use in SASS/CAS --- I always shoot "Gunfighter" for the last 5 years and now will have even more FUN :thumbsup:

I will try to link a photo of my "Evil Twins";

That worked -- COOOOL -- I am getting the hang of this "confusser"stuff --- now to get the hang of shooting my new Smokers :haha:

Thanks for looking -- Bird

If this doesn't work out for you, e-mail me and I can take them off your hands for you. :haha:

Hi All,
Plink --- are you the same "Plink" from the SASS Wire???

Well , I got to shoot the Evil Twins and had a Ball doing so. I used what I had -- a ball {.451} and a single Pyrodex 30gr. pellet.
My good pard Huck , was helping me with the basics { never did this before} and he had his .36 C&B's loaded with a ball and 20gr. of Goex ------- I put one of my Twins and one of the .36s loaded on a table , then took turns shooting one shot thru each --- I could not tell ANY difference in recoil between the .44 and .36 BUT MINE SMOKED MORE :haha:
I learned to load them myself and how to clean them -- I want to try shooting them on paper to see how they do -- was shooting at "Steel" and only missed one shot out of 20 !!!
Had NO misfires or jammed Caps etc. Over the Winter -- I will play with them and come next Spring -- WATCH OUT , it's Jailbird the BP Gunfighter :thumbsup:
All stay safe -- Bird

Nice set of hoglegs ya got there, I love mine but it's got the 7 1/2 in. barrel and ain't near so fancy :thumbsup:

Hi Jailbird. I'm afraid I ain't the same feller from SASS. Just an old gun forum nickname I've used for years.

Nice. Bought my brother one for a special occasion. He likes it they shoot nice. I don't like the short barrel or the short loading lever, but it ain't my gun! Important thing is that you have a couple of new toys...

They are beauts!

I have a brace of Police model 1860's that I use for the same thing. You will have a blast! :applause:
