From Colonial Christmas Cooking

I made Molasses Pecan Biscuits. I switched out and used Sorghum Molasses (seemed to me both pecans & sorghum would be found in the same part of the country together).

The first batch went in the oven with no other changes. There was enough to make another 10 or 12 Biscuits, so I added some chopped cranberry's
& dipped a pecan half in sorghum molasses & put it on top.

Just a hint of sweet, light, all in all a nice biscuit, would be great with butter. The bake time said 12 min. at 425 :( I burnt the bottoms on the lower rack tray at about 9-10 min. It might be best to bake only on the upper & have an empty tray on the lower. :idunno:

Sho nuf! Lassis and peecans are both suthen goodies. Your biscuits look great. Are you the camp cook?

I would get in line for 3 or 4 of those myself, give them a good slather of homemade Blue or Blackberry jam and I'm good to go.
