I've ordered from Midway for years and always had great service and quick shipping. Over the last 3 months, I've ordered alot of black powder and expecting 8 more pounds plus 2500 percussion primers tommorrow. You are only allowed 2 pounds per each kind of BP, so you have to order what you think will be worth the hazmat fee which is not that bad at all.
I have a batch coming in from Midway today as well. Since they reduced the hazmat fee, I have been buying a bt more from them.
When you can get powder delivered for a total cost of less than 25.00 a pound, it's not a great deal, but certainly not a bad deal.
Powdervallyinc is also a good source, but this week they were out of what I wanted for restocking.

Powder Valley is my “go to” powder source, but I just had to order Blackhorn from Cabelas. Given the current supply situation, “in stock“ trumps price.

I was taken on a cattle drive once down in DFW.....

We ended up at a sweat hog mud wrestling match at Billy Bobs!

Turns out it wasn’t a sanctioned match, just two old gals disagreeing...

It was still a great time !

It does not work correctly. If it doesn't work correctly, it is about useless. It showed 3 places near me. None of them carry BP and haven't ever and one hasn't carried it for a long long time.

Well, I'll take your word for that, but all the info appears correct when I use it. Perhaps you should E-mail them.

Heck I was just fooling around after the Down Fresno Way comment. My sister lives in Dallas. Been in the DFW area a few times.

Same here, I figured out immediately what DFW stood for, just having a little pointed fun at the OP's expense. :D
It would be like me asking for help finding a business in Duke City, unless one is a local most have no idea that Duke City is the local nick name for Albuquerque.

Hazmat and shipping is included in the price I believe at powder inc. If it it still more expensive then my apologies.
I just checked that out.
You are right - shipping is included.
If you buy a minimum of 5 pounds, it will be a little more expensive, but not a lot more.
If you buy more than 5 pounds - it's a lot more expensive - as a hazmat fee with any vendor is per shipment.
So that said - availability of product could and would be a deciding factor for small quantities.
Thank you for that information!

5 pounds of Goex from Powder, inc will cost 158.15 total. From Graf it's 122.40 this is with shipping and hazmat.
25 pounds Powder inc is 491.25 total, Graf is 522.20

Once lived around Bachman Lake and Love Field when I was in elementary and junior high school. Had to make my own back then (OK, that's all I'll say about it*) so glad you found a source.

*Except stuff blows up so let other people make it.

I tried it for my area the other day, just for kicks. It showed two places. One was listed as a sporting goods place, but the website was "Tactical" something or other and the guy had no clue what I was talking about. The second place said they did carry Goex at one time, but they no longer did. I guess whether the locator works or not depends on where you live. :dunno:

When I spoke w/ the woman on the phone from Shuetzen she told me that Tarrant County had banned the storage of BP(stores) and that's why there are no dealers in Arlington or FW. I have not confirmed this however but considering how rare it is there may be some truth to this.
