Thanks for accepting me into this forum. I am a longtime blackpowder enthusiastic that was introduced to this side by a close friend.
Blackpowder cannons are an obsession as well as muzzleloading pistols and long guns.
Looking forward to swapping stories.
And yes, 4F is a spice of life!

The well-known Artillery scholar, Mr. Smithgall, of Pennsylvania, recently passed. He assembled the most complete American artillery collection in existence. He will be missed by the N-NSA organization and researchers all over the US and perhaps internationally.

Ha! Love it! I'm a big scotch/bourbon guy! And, black powder is ORGANIC!
Gettin ready to wet some powder with some Old Overholt Rye. It spices it up and gives it a little kick. Within the past few years, rye has began making a comeback, but Old Overholt is the oldest continually distilled whiskey in the U.S., they survived through prohibition as one of the few distilleries that obtained a medicinal whiskey license. Old Overholt was the preferred whiskey of Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp. Today, primarily due to tourism, more Old Overholt Rye is sold in Tombstone, AZ, that anywhere else in the world, per town historian Ben Traywick.
